Lynden work looks different from Bellingham work. The lots are larger, a lot of the housing is agricultural or semi-rural, and families here tend to stay put across generations.

That produces two kinds of job we do a lot of. The first is farmhouse renovation — good old houses that need structure, insulation, wiring and a kitchen that works for how people cook now, without turning them into something they are not.

The second is building for family. Additions for a growing household, or an ADU so parents can stay on the property instead of moving into town. With the lot sizes here, a detached accessory dwelling is often genuinely straightforward.

Rural parcels bring their own considerations — septic capacity rather than sewer, well water, longer utility runs, and setbacks that are not the same as in a city subdivision. We check those first, because they decide what is possible.
