Gurpreet Jassar started framing in British Columbia in 2000, and after seven years on other people's crews he built his first house from the ground up. Everything since has been built with that same starting point: get the structure right and the rest follows.

We take on a limited number of custom homes at a time, which means the person who priced your job is the person on site. Site preparation, foundation, framing, envelope, mechanical, finishes, final inspection and handover — one contractor, one schedule, one phone number.

Do you build on my lot, or do you have lots?

We build on your lot. We are a builder, not a developer — we do not hold land inventory. If you are still looking for a parcel, we are glad to walk it with you before you buy and give you an honest read on site costs, because access, slope, soil, water and septic can move a budget substantially.

Do I need an architect first?

Not necessarily on day one. Come to us with sketches, a plan you like, or nothing at all. For many custom homes a good designer plus the engineering we coordinate is enough. For complex or steep sites, an architect earns their fee. We will tell you which one you are looking at.

What is the advantage of a builder who frames?

Framing is where a house is won or lost. Square, plumb, properly supported, correct load paths, sensible layout for the trades that follow. When the builder came up on the framing crew, that part gets watched closely rather than subbed out and hoped for.
