The November 2021 Nooksack River flooding hit Everson, Nooksack and Sumas hard, and the effects of it are still visible in the work homeowners out here need doing.
We take on repair and rebuild work from water damage — replacing flood-damaged framing, insulation, wiring, drywall and flooring, and doing it in a way that makes the house more resilient than it was. On some properties that means elevating, improving drainage, or rethinking how the ground floor is finished.
The rest of our Everson work is rural building: farmhouse renovations, additions, shops and outbuildings, ADUs so family can stay on the land, and custom homes on acreage.
Rural parcels here mean septic instead of sewer, wells, long service runs, and floodplain rules on some properties. Those are the first things we look at, because they determine cost and feasibility more than anything on the drawings.
